I have worked for Palmer’s Home Care for 2 years. I oversee all IT related functions for Palmer’s Home Care, Mid-Missouri Supported Living, and Lifetime Services. The IT Department is responsible for all computer equipment, printers, phones, networking equipment, servers, access control systems, Microsoft 365 environment, and anything security related. What I like best working here is the family atmosphere. I am also amazed each day at the care and support our staff provide to our individuals.
I grew up in south central Missouri and moved to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri. I have a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education and a MS in Personal Financial Planning from Mizzou. I taught high school math for the Columbia Public School District for 5 years before transitioning to an IT career. Before joining Palmer’s Home Care, I worked in IT positions for the Columbia Daily Tribune, University of Missouri, and Veteran’s United.
